I’ve now been back for a week and have not posted more photographs from the wedding… I am getting through them slowly and came across this one. I feel that it really represents a lot about wedding photography.

The first thought that came to my mind is that every wedding day goes by so fast it is a blur.

How do you feel this photograph represents wedding photography?

It’s the only way a person could remember their wedding if they didn’t have a wonderful photographer, like yourself.

I agree, they do go by quickly, though. except for the reception- those can lag sometimes!

Love your thoughts behind it. :) It seems so fast when it happens, even for us photographers. :-D

  3. Sandra Soroka Says:

that’s probably how clear most people’s vision is by the middle of the reception j/k. In seriousness though, this photo shows no end to the ocean, and hopefully no end to the joyous union that the couple made that day, and the blur shows that nothing in this life is clear or for certain. I love it.

photo reminds me of being on the beach with too much to drink!

That’s how all the photos from my wedding look like, minus the cool beach. I wish the Bui bros/Dieppa (spelling?) had been around back then.

Cancun Day 6

Cancun Day 6

Today was a pretty busy day, even though we only intended to go to one place.
We started the day out lazily by sleeping in until 11:00am. Got up and asked our tour sales guy, Victor, if he could get us to Chitzen Itza; unfortunately the tour left at 7:00am. We ended up renting a car [...]

Cancun Day 5

Today Bonny and I had a very awesome time at Xcaret, Mexico. Think Disneyland in Mexico with a Mayan, jungle and Caribbean theme. It was way one of the best experiences we have had.
The best part for me was when we went swimming in underground rivers and swimming in the jungle. This is just a [...]

Cancun Day 3

Not much today, mostly relaxing for tomorrows wedding. I can’t go getting killed or getting stranded somewhere right before the wedding now can I?
Basically we woke up really late, went to eat, went swimming, then had a fancy dinner.

Cancun Day 2

Above is another bit of video from our day 2 in Cancun, Mexico. We got to go kayaking, meet a monkey, and go on a pirate cruise!
I’d also like to write (type) about what made it possible for me to be here. I am here for work…
Without Bonny, I don’t think I’d be able to [...]

Cancun Day 1

Wow! Cancun is so awesome!
Here is a quick video (30 seconds) recap of our day. We got to see the beautiful beach and water, walk around a bit of Mayan ruins, see some wildlife and go swimming.
We still have not gotten in touch with Aaron (I’m shooting the wedding on Sunday with him) so hopefully [...]
