Today we shot the wedding!!!
The day could not have been more perfect.
I am so tired after transferring and backing up all of the photographs I am just going to post this one photograph. I’ll post more soon, for now check out Aaron’s blog (he should be posting some images soon).

I had the pleasure of shooting Zadi Diaz and Steve Woolf of Smashface (which makes Epic Fu) the other day.
Just the other day Zadi and Steve announced on the Smashface blog that they would be going separate ways with Next New Networks. A mutual and friendly decision as both NNN (blog post) and Smashface are still friends. Just today, Steve and Zadi announced that they are now moving to Revision3. I look forward to seeing new Epic-Fu episodes again starting June 5th.
I love being able to photograph many of the new media leaders and look forward to shooting more soon.

Wow, I had the greatest time second shooting for [b] e c k e r in Aspen at the Roaring Fork Club (well, just outside of Aspen in Basalt)!!! The bride was so easy going and beautiful I could not stop shooting once I met her.
Being Becker’s second shooter is a huge privilege, I was able to learn so much from him; even though I’ve been shooting the [b] School blog with him since last year. Vu Bui, my brother, also went to Aspen and shot lots of great stuff for the [b] School over the weekend.
Becker is an amazing person to work with; he is fast, fun, friendly, and most of all, loved by everyone he shoots. Anyone he is shooting just lights up when he talks to them and it really shows in his images. Just follow this link to see what I’m talking about.
The florist who did the arrangements did a wonderful job. Everything was so clean and beautiful.
Hit & Run Bluegrass Band played live music and everyone had a blast with them. I’m going to be sure to buy one of their CDs because I know Bonny will love the music.

Here is a nighttime photograph I took on a tripod of the Roaring Fork Club.
The glow in the distance is the small town of Basalt, CO.

Today was such a great day!!! I got to go with Aaron Dieppa to shoot Carrie and Daniel at Laguna Beach. I was very excited to shoot them because I remembered when we first met how fun they were. Another reason is because we will be shooting their wedding in Cancun, Mexico at the Dreams Resort.
After the photo shoot we ate at the Las Brisas Restaurant; Daniel and I ordered the same thing, Ono fish with a seafood enchilada. All I have to say is that was the best fish I’ve had in a long time. We ate and had a great time, maybe too good of a time for a fancy place like that. I think we were the loudest bunch there.

Today Aaron Dieppa and I shot Kristy and Doug at the Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden at California State University Long Beach (CSULB). The garden is beautiful and we came out with some awesome photographs. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in the Japanese Garden later this year.

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of shooting Bonnie and Isaac’s wedding. It was a beautiful and fun wedding with lots of great people. Here are some of my favorite shots:

After editing Ryanne and Jay’s photos I am very happy with this particular one:

I love their expressions and posture. They are a perfect couple to photograph, so much personality comes though when one photographs them.
Today Bonny and I shot an old friends family portraits at Schabarum Regional Park. We had a great time then went to eat an early dinner a Macaroni Grill. The kids had macaroni and cheese, I had lasagna… I was jealous of the macaroni and cheese.

Here are a few images from an engagement photo shoot Aaron Dieppa and I did yesterday for Bonnie and Isaac:

We had a great time shooting in downtown LA and the Griffith Observatory. I had never been to the Griffith Observatory before; it looked like a lot of fun, I’ll be back there some time to check it out.
