Over the weekend I had the chance to shoot a wedding reception with Aaron Dieppa, it was a great chance to meet a really nice new couple and to try out my new Canon 5D. You can see Aaron’s images on his blog here.

Yesterday I had the great chance to eat lunch with George Ruiz (Head of New Media, Senior Vice-President Business Affairs at ICM, link, link, link). I met George after doing a photo shoot of Veronica Belmont, George is Veronica’s agent (as well as many other talented people).
We had some great conversations about new media, old media and something lots of us don’t think about… what will we see when we look back on all of this new media stuff.
Well, during our walk to eat lunch I did a 30 second photo shoot of George. Literally 3o seconds, and building security was already there. So here is what you can get from me in a 30 second photo shoot:
Today I got to shoot the Ru family finally. We have been talking about it for months and finally we got to do it. Check out these beautiful people:

Today was such a great day!!! I got to go with Aaron Dieppa to shoot Carrie and Daniel at Laguna Beach. I was very excited to shoot them because I remembered when we first met how fun they were. Another reason is because we will be shooting their wedding in Cancun, Mexico at the Dreams Resort.
After the photo shoot we ate at the Las Brisas Restaurant; Daniel and I ordered the same thing, Ono fish with a seafood enchilada. All I have to say is that was the best fish I’ve had in a long time. We ate and had a great time, maybe too good of a time for a fancy place like that. I think we were the loudest bunch there.
Here is another great photograph of Veronica Belmont from the headshot shoot we did the other day.
Something very interesting about this park we were at was that all of the benches and picnic tables were unique. One had a big rock protruding through it; another was cut in half. The one behind Veronica in this photograph was actually a bridge over a small stream (I wish I took some establishing shots of the area).
The set-up for this shot was very simple, Veronica was sitting on the bench/bridge with her feet over the water. I stood on some rocks in the stream with the big open blue sky behind me. Veronica was shaded by a big tree.
Yesterday Vu, Keats and I went to Studio 1-on-1 in Venice, CA to photograph Eddie Grey for some promotional images he will be using soon. Here are some of my picks from the shoot:
A few days ago I had the pleasure of shooting headshots for Veronica Belmont again. You can see some of the last photo shoot here on flickr.
WOW, Veronica is so easy and great to work with!!! The last photo shoot we did was her first time in a professional photo shoot and she was a natural. This one, her second, was even better! We found a park in Santa Monica, we walked around looking at some ducks, then we shot a few great photographs of Veronica.
