Los Angeles Headshots

I receive so many requests from actors, actresses and people that just want a nice photograph to use as their avatar online asking for headshots, but usually I am out of their price range (My normal price is $400 for a full headshots session, if you would like to book this please call me or use my contact form). So… to make something more affordable and available to everyone, I thought I’d have a dedicated day each month to schedule a few headshot shoots back to back for those that need headshots in Los Angeles.

Basically what I’m doing is shooting for one or two great photos during these sessions, this is not a full photo shoot… just a quick 30 minute session. The headshot will be done in Los Angeles, I would want to keep the shoot to one outfit; recommendations for what to wear and how to do your makeup and what to do if you are a dude are at the bottom of this page.

Los Angeles headshots wardrobe, makeup and information

Los Angeles headshots wardrobe guidelines:
Wear dark colors: reds, blues, greens, blacks
Textures are very good
Layers are great
Good necklines are: v-necks, tank tops, crew necks, collared shirts, sweaters, sports coats, casual outdoor jackets and dresses
Wear comfortable pants or a dress
No turtlenecks, jewelry, stripes or prints

Los Angeles headshots makeup guidelines:
If you do your own make up every day, you can do it for your headshots. The photos on this page were shot without a make-up artist. We want a natural look and you want to be able to recreate the same look when you walk into an audition.

Los Angeles headshots dude guidelines:
Pretty much the same information as above, but if you don’t know how to do your own makeup I would recommend just doing the shoot without any makeup.
