Here is another edit for the shoot with Bonny the other day.
Over the weekend I had the chance to shoot a wedding reception with Aaron Dieppa, it was a great chance to meet a really nice new couple and to try out my new Canon 5D. You can see Aaron’s images on his blog here.

This cake was so delicious. It was kind of like angel cake with pudding inside that was solid a little like jello. Well that description does not do it justice... All I know is that is was really good cake.
I got to get in really close with a 100mm macro on the cake topper.
Aaron likes to photograph details, I think if you left him alone for an hour in a room you might be able to reconstruct the room from his photographs alone.
The one item on the dinner menu that I had never had and really was excited about was Shark Fin soup. It was delicious.

Although Aaron did eat some pigeon I don't recall him actually eating the head. You should ask him if he really did.
Now comes a game that I think is really fun. The groom gets blindfolded and has to feel other girls hands and figure out which one is his wife.
Not a girl.
He got is right away.

After Vu finished shooting the other day, I changed the lighting setup he had a little bit and shot some of Bonny. Here is one of the first shots, I wanted to make a plastic looking Bonny.
Yesterday Bonny and I went to Candice and Mark Brooke’s housewarming party. We had a great time playing croquet, spoons and apples to apples. A few of the photographers that showed up were Vu Bui, Aaron Dieppa, Anna Joy, Ryel J, Amy and Aaron, Victor Sizemore, Brian Khang, Jessica Claire, Michael Norwood, David Lee, Gracie, and Christian Kadsen (I’m sure I’m missing someone… send me an email if I missed you).
Yesterday I had the great chance to eat lunch with George Ruiz (Head of New Media, Senior Vice-President Business Affairs at ICM, link, link, link). I met George after doing a photo shoot of Veronica Belmont, George is Veronica’s agent (as well as many other talented people).
We had some great conversations about new media, old media and something lots of us don’t think about… what will we see when we look back on all of this new media stuff.
Well, during our walk to eat lunch I did a 30 second photo shoot of George. Literally 3o seconds, and building security was already there. So here is what you can get from me in a 30 second photo shoot:
